Our breakfasts are always made with fresh, local products. For instance, the fruits are organic, the pancakes are made the same morning and our jams are homemade.

For young parents, we provide a baby bed free of charge.

1. Where can you rent a large holiday house near Dinant?

The Ferme de l'Airbois holiday cottages have been specially designed for families and groups of friends. They are located in Yvoir, near Dinant, at the gateway to the Belgian Ardennes. Set in peaceful, natural surroundings, they can comfortably accommodate groups of 12 to 14 people. You can either rent one cottage separately or hire both cottages for a total of 26 beds in 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms.

2. Are the cottages at Ferme de l'Airbois suitable for families with children?

Yes, the cottages at Ferme de l'Airbois are perfectly suited to families with children. There are large living rooms, bedrooms with cots available and high chairs. The owners also have young children and have therefore thought of all the equipment you might need. The gardens allow children to play freely in the countryside while their parents enjoy an aperitif together. The swimming pool is well secured with a sturdy cover and is surrounded by hedges and barriers.

3. Are the Airbois holiday cottages located in the countryside?

Few holiday cottages in Belgium are as isolated as ours! Our cottages are located in the heart of the countryside, in the Dinant region of Wallonia. They offer a green, peaceful and unspoilt environment, ideal for recharging your batteries. From the swimming pool, you can admire the view stretching as far as France, 25 km away. Some say this feels like being in Provence. 

In summer, you can relax while watching the cows graze in the meadow and the apples ripen on the trees. The sheer atmosphere of the countryside!

4. What activities are available at the Ferme de l'Airbois holiday cottages and in the surrounding area?

Our two large gîtes (Ecuries for 12 people and Logis for 14 people) allow you to enjoy activities both indoors and outdoors. Inside, the large saloons areas are ideal for socialising in groups (board games, aperitifs, table football, DVDs, etc.). Outside, the large gardens offer many possibilities: table tennis, pétanque, swimming pool, swings, but also hikes starting from the cottage, walks in the forest, cultural visits and gastronomic discoveries. The cottages are an excellent starting point for exploring the natural and tourist attractions of the region.

5. Do the Ferme de l'Airbois cottages accept short stays or weekend stays?

Yes, of course, that's the whole idea behind our cottages! You can rent for a weekend, a midweek (Monday-Friday) or a full week (Friday to Friday or Monday to Sunday). Prices vary according to the season. This flexibility makes it easy to organise a getaway with friends, a family holiday or a private event.

6. How can I book accommodation at Ferme de l'Airbois without going through a platform?

You can book accommodation directly through our website without going through a booking platform. Direct booking allows for simple and reassuring contact with the owner, greater transparency and often more flexibility. It also guarantees clear communication about availability, terms and conditions, and cottage amenities, with no intermediary fees. Ultimately, you pay less!

7. What are the cancellation conditions at Ferme de l'Airbois?

No-show and cancellation within 7 days before the start of the planned stay: 100% of the invoiced amount.

8. Is the welcome at Ferme de l'Airbois personalised and warm?

We are committed to welcoming all our guests in a friendly and personalised manner. With us, there are no key boxes or remote check-in. We show each group around the gîte to explain the specifics of the house, but also to tell them about good restaurants in the area, fun activities to do, castles to visit, and more. Staying at the Ferme de l'Airbois gîtes is a bit like staying with an ambassador for the region!
