Just a 2 hour and 35 minute drive from Calais, set in 60 acres of unspoilt countryside, you will find our beautiful old farmhouse. Overlooking the River Meuse, it boasts en-suite luxury accommodation, a heated swimming pool and traditional French cooking.
Skilled guides (including your host) will lead you, based on the latest sightings, to the best bird sites of the Ardennes and South Belgium, where you can see up to 25 species, which are now rare or absent in the UK.
Breaks include en-suite room furnished to the highest standard, breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals, guide services and evening slide shows.

Further afield, you will find breeds such as the Tengmalm's Owl, the Nightjar, the Corn Crake, the Nutcracker and the Grey-headed Woodpecker.
Goshawk, Peregrine, Honey Buzzard, Marsh and Melodious Warblers, Firecrest, Crested Tit, Short-toed Treecreeper, Serin and Red-backed Shrike are all local breeders.
The Black Stork reappeared in South Belgium only 10 years ago.
In expansion from the south, the Middle Spotted Woodpecker recently reached our area.

The Black Woodpecker feeds round the farmhouse and breeds in the immediate vicinity.
The Eagle Owl roosts in the estate and breeds in a nearby quarry. It sometimes can be heard calling from the lime tree of our courtyard!
